Questions about the cookbook, a bulk order, or a press request

Contact the Dion's Pizza Team

Use this page for questions about the cookbook, bulk orders, press requests, or anything you cannot find on the site. Messages go to a person, and replies usually take one to two business days.

If you are looking for the recipes themselves, the collection and the style guide are the faster route. This page is for the things only a reply can answer: an order that needs an invoice, a class set for a school, a stack for a shop counter, or a question about a specific dough problem you hit mid-bake.

What to write about

Ask about a specific recipe, a dough problem, an order, or a bulk request for a class or shop. Naming the pizza style helps, since the answer often depends on whether you are working with a home oven, a steel, or a stone.

If your question is about shipping, pickup, or payment method, mention that up front so it can be answered in the first reply. Orders are handled by invoice or bank transfer, and local pickup is available in Chicago.

Press and review inquiries are welcome too; include your outlet and deadline if you have one. Journalists and reviewers can request a copy, cover images, or an interview.

Bulk and wholesale requests

For multiple copies, tell us the quantity, the intended use, and the date you need them by. Classes, restaurants, gift orders, and library purchases are all fine. Bulk pricing and timing are handled case by case, so the more detail you give, the faster the reply.

If you need an invoice for a business or school, say so in the message and the team can prepare one. There is no online card checkout on this site, which is why the order path runs through a reply rather than a cart.

What to include, so the first reply can be the useful one

  • Quantity and format. How many copies, and whether you want them in one shipment or staged across a term.
  • Intended use. A cooking class, a restaurant reference shelf, a shop counter, a library, or gifts for a team.
  • The date you need them by. A hard date beats a rough one; it decides whether the request can be met.
  • Billing details. If a business or school needs an invoice, mention it and the team will prepare one.

Press and media

Journalists and reviewers can request a copy, cover images, or an interview. Include the publication, the angle, and your deadline. The team will get back to you with what is available.

What happens after you send

Your message reaches the team inbox, and you get a confirmation page right away. A reply follows, usually within one to two business days.

If your request is time-sensitive, note that in the message and it will be prioritized. Weekend messages are read on the next working day, since the desk is closed on Sunday.

Order and payment questions

Orders are handled by invoice or bank transfer, and local pickup is available in Chicago. There is no online card checkout on this site, so if you were looking for one, that is why.

  1. Your message lands in the team inbox

Every note is read by a person rather than routed through a ticket queue. A specific question gets a specific answer, so include the pizza style, the oven, or the order number where it applies.

  2. You get a confirmation straight away

The confirmation page tells you the message was received, so you are not left wondering whether the form worked. Keep your reference to the message handy if you follow up.

  3. A reply follows in one to two business days

Bulk and press requests can take a little longer because pricing and availability are confirmed case by case. If your deadline is tight, say so and it moves up the list.

Send your question

Write in whatever detail the question needs. If it is about a bulk order, a press copy, or an invoice, the form reaches the same team that answers the phone.

Fields marked with an asterisk are required. Your message is used only to answer your question.

Before you write

A few answers that cover most of the notes the team receives, so you can skip the wait when one of them fits.

Can I buy the cookbook on this site?

There is no online card checkout here. Orders run by invoice or bank transfer, and pickup can be arranged in Chicago. Write with what you need and the team will send the order details back.

How long does a reply take?

Usually one to two business days. Messages that arrive over the weekend are read on the next working day, since the desk is closed on Sunday. Bulk and press requests can take a little longer while pricing and availability are confirmed.

Do you take orders for classes or restaurants?

Yes. Cooking classes, restaurant reference shelves, library purchases, and gift orders are all handled the same way: tell us the quantity, the intended use, and the date you need them by, and pricing and timing are worked out case by case.

Can I pick up my order in person?

Local pickup is available in Chicago, arranged in advance by message so someone is there to meet you. Send the day and rough time you have in mind, and the team will confirm before you travel.
